Super Eagles hold first Session under floodlights on a Police College Facility

The Super Eagles had their first training session in Abidjan, late on Wednesday, which head Coach, Jose Peseiro told BRL was only a recovery session.

Super Eagles arrived at Abidjan on Wednesday afternoon after a week’s camping in Abu Dhabi, and a trip to Lagos for a reception before their official arrival for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

 

 

23 players were in the contingent and all but one took part in the group training, only Sadiq Umar trained separately.

Wednesday’s exercise took place in the Police College facility under floodlights.

Meanwhile, Terem Moffi and Kelechi Iheanacho are still expected to join the squad.
