Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has been ruled of the friendly game against Algeria.
Musa’s Club Sivasspor confirmed in a statement that the winger injured his arm during weekend’s clash against Ankaragucu.
The club said, the 29-year-old will start his treatment with immediate effect, which means he won’t be available for international friendly game between Algeria and Nigeria in Oran on September 27.
The statement read: “Health report on Ahmed Musa. In the match of the 7th week of the Spor Toto Super Lig against Ankaragücü, our player was injured in the 19th minute.
“Ahmed Musa was checked and was found to have a fracture in his left arm.
“The treatment process of our player has started immediately.”
Musa become the third player to pull out of the Coach Jose Peseiro’s 25-man Eagles for the game.
Henry Onyekuru, and Leon Balogun have also pulled out of the clash due injury, while injured duo of Victor Osimhen and Sadiq Umar were not listed for the game.
